Opened by recent transplant and former wine distributor Jacques de Villier in mid-2006, Old Port Wine Merchants has an extensive selection of wines from around the world, in addition to a humidity-controlled cigar room. Jacques is very enthusiastic about wine, and he and his staff are great at selecting a wine to pair with your meal, or a special order. They carry Riedel glassware, corkscrews, Laguiole knives and other wine accoutrements, as well as picnic baskets and accessories.
