The bakery has been operating since 1995, making blueberry pie, strawberry-rhubarb pie, all kinds of pie—and pastries and cookies, with house granola available too. In the fall of 2007 the owner, Cherie Davis decided to try a new direction, devoting more of her business to take-out meals and the basics of good dinners. She also holds a wine tasting the third Friday of every month from 5 to 7:30.
These days at what is now called Bel Cibo da Cherie you can find wine, an antipasto bar with cheeses, olives, caper barries, marinated artichokes, stuffed cherry peppers and more, sandwiches, panini, and prepared meals to go, including meatloaf, potato-crusted haddock, veggie burritos, salads, side dishes, macaroni and cheese, and chicken pot pies. Retail supplies to complete a meal are also for sale, like olive oils, balsamic vinegars, and dried pasta.
